From October the 18th to November the 15th Sony Ericsson Twentertain_Me followers are invited to take part in two key activities that will run as part of the Sony Ericsson APPtitude Lab. There will be two key activities over the course of the four weeks, one based around Photography apps and the other based around Location apps. The first activity will encourage participants to use their Android phones to enter an online Photography competition where users will be encouraged to take pictures along a specific theme using apps that are available on Android market. The second activity will encourage users to use their Android phones and the location-based apps that are available on Android to engage in review competitions as well as Sony Ericsson specific SCVNRGR competitions.

Key competition criteria:

1. Open to residents of the UK aged 18 or over, excluding employees and their immediate families of Sony Ericsson and 3 Hutch UK, their subsidiary or affiliated companies, their agents, or anyone else professionally connected with this promotion.
2. To enter go to www.sonyericsson.com/twentertainme and read the information which will explain the activities and how you enter them.
3. The activities will run from the 18th of October to the 15th of November 2010 inclusive.
4. The Photography competition will run for the full four weeks of the incentive (October 18th  00:00am – November 14th midnight . The Location competition will run for the final two weeks (November 1st 00:00am – November 14th midnight). There will be one main prize awarded for each. The first directly relates to the Photography competition where winners will be able to win the opportunity to go on a photographic tour of Berlin. The second directly relates to the Location competition where the main prize is to go an ultimate weekend around London where the winners will take in a number of exclusive activities. Winning entries will be reviewed and judged by Sony Ericsson representatives as to how well they answer the competition rules which can be found on www.apptitudelab.com
5. In addition there will be secondary prize giveaways each week (weeks close midnight on Sunday October 24th, Sunday October 31st, November 7th and November 14th) of eight other prizes. Entry for these prizes remains the same as the process for entry on the main prizes. The eight secondary prize giveaways consist of: 8 x Sony Ericsson Xperia™ X10 phones. 6. The selection of the winners and allocation of both the main and secondary prizes will be determined by Sony Ericsson representatives and is dependant on answering the specific activity by utilising the correct app in the prescribed way. Winners will be notified through announcement on the Twentertain_Me page and via direct message on Twitter within 7 days of the closing date of the activity. Winners will then be asked to supply their name, address, email and contact number to claim their prizes. The information will only be used in conjunction with the Sony Ericsson APPtitude lab campaign. The information will not be used for marketing purposes or shared with any third party companies.

13. As applicable, prizes are based on two people sharing a room.
14. Insurance is not included but is required and will be the responsibility of the travellers.
15. Winners are responsible for their own visas, passports and meeting entry requirements, and winners will be required to accept the detailed conditions attached to individual activities. Unless otherwise agreed in writing by the promoter, all prizes will only be available to the winners in person.
16. No cash or other alternative prizes will be available, except that in the event of circumstances outside of its control the promoter reserves the right to substitute any prize with a similar alternative of equal or greater value.
17. Where car hire is included winners are required to have a valid credit card in their own name to act as a guarantee on collection of the vehicle, without this they will not be permitted to hire the car. Drivers must be aged over 21.
18. Unless otherwise specified, it is the winner's responsibility to find his or her own transport to and from the events / activities and some activities will fall on certain dates so it is the winner's responsibility to ensure they can meet those dates as no substitute is awarded in the absence of the winner.
19. The decision of The Promoter is final in respect of all promotional matters and no correspondence will be entered into.
